New format for 2025
The Overlook Golf Course Monday Night Golf League will be a 2-player team handicapped match play league. Both a singles matches and a four-ball match (better ball of partners) will be played weekly. All matches will be played using full handicap. Example: In a group where Player A and Player B represents one team and player C and Player D represents the opposing team, the lower handicap of Player A or B will play a singles match against the lower handicap of player C or D. The two higher handicaps of each team will also play a singles match against each other. At the same time there will also be a Four Ball Match (better ball of partners) between Players A & B vs Players C & D. A much friendlier scoring format then in the past years.
The league will once again be expanded to all 18 holes. The league will be limited to 48 team/96 players this season. Teams that participated in the prior year will get first chance to register with all remaining openings filled on a first come basis. Registration opens February 15 for the general public after last years participants get a chance to register. Registration will close on April 11, 2025. GHIN handicap is included with league and needed for divisions.
Can't commit to the league for the whole year but still want to play? We are always looking for subs to fill in for those times that league players can't make a match. Please email me if you would like to be added to the sub list. Subs must have a GHIN handicap to participate.
The yearly registration fee includes, green fees, cart (if applicable), USGA GHIN handicap, weekly prizes, and end of the year prize money.
